Contains photographs of the following military units and organization: 11th Airborne Division. General description of the collection: The Ralph M. Osborne photograph collection covers the career of Ralph M. Osborne basically from World War II through his retirement. There are excellent photographs for his World War II and Korean War years. The prisoner exchange and Armistice Commission photos for the Korean War are especially significant. There are also photos of Osborne's service in Alaska, Fort Sill, Germany and Fort Monroe. There are the usual photos of parties, receptions, dinners, promotion ceremonies, parades, presentations and demonstrations. There are numerous photos of Osborne's command of Fort Campbell, Kentucky with the 11th Airborne Division and a nice album presented to him by the German police of Berlin in 1961.
